  • Manager Foundations

    Do you have new managers? Do you want your managers aligned in the way they manage people? If you answered yes to either of these, then the Manager Foundations Workshop is right for you!


    The Manager Foundations Workshop is designed as both a refresher for existing managers and to provide new managers with a strong foundation in talent management strategy.


    This 2-day training program will take managers through in-depth skills practice using various leadership models, allow them to participate in interactive activities, and gain a better understanding of motivation, delegation, coaching, communication, performance management, and leadership. By the end of the HR training, participants will be empowered to improve on key weakness areas, play to their strengths, and get the best results from each member of their team.


    Day one of the Manager Foundations Workshop is all about "Understanding Yourself" as a manager. The focus of this module is self-assessment through the learning style inventory, work personality index, the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), and the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator.


    Day two focuses on “Understanding Others”. Using the learnings from the previous session, participants go through a series of case studies (written and video) to identify various behaviours, styles, and preferences and assess the approach in each situation to yield the best possible outcome.


    The final part of day two is all about “Understanding Performance”. All elements of performance management are explored in this module; objective setting, reward and recognition, feedback, coaching, performance improvement planning, performance appraisals, development planning, potential identification, and career planning.

  • Six Hats

    Six Thinking Hats HR training is a fast-paced, practical, and interactive training that teaches how to investigate an issue from a variety of perspectives, but in a clear, conflict-free way.


    Participants will learn how to effectively separate emotion from facts, the positive from the negative, and critical thinking from creative thinking, as well as how to set their opinions and egos aside to focus on a way forward.


    Six Hats Outcomes:

    • Better, more productive thinking.
    • Shorter, more productive meetings and project groups.
    • Improved communication, collaboration, and understanding.

  • Behavioural Interviewing

    This half-day HR training program teaches how to ask questions in a job interview to not only understand the specific tasks a candidate has completed in their previous work experience, but also to explore his or her approach to doing them.


    The behavioural interview technique is used to evaluate a candidate’s experiences and behaviours to determine their potential for success. This approach is focused on discovering how an applicant acted in specific employment-related situations; the belief is that the best predictor of future performance is past behaviour. This interviewing method provides a more objective set of facts to make employment decisions.

  • Emotional Intelligence

    Emotional Intelligence (EI) is vital to being an effective and high-performing member of any team. In this workshop, you will become familiar with this proven EI model and learn how to apply EI skills for maximum effectiveness.   • Presentation Skills

    In our 2-day Presentation Skills course, participants learn how to present their ideas with conviction, clarity and style — and without fear. They'll gain the specific skills and direction they need to become comfortable with their own presentation style. And they'll receive expert advice on how to handle especially challenging situations. Most importantly, participants develop these skills by making live presentations and obtaining invaluable feedback in a safe and fun workshop environment.


    This small group, instructor-led, communication and presentation skills training course is designed for professionals who want to advance their communication skills. These are small group workshops with customized coaching tailored to the specific needs of each participant. Each participant will learn effective presentation and delivery techniques, then practice. The practice presentations are videotaped and used for immediate feedback and coaching.

  • Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator

    The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® (MBTI ®) is a versatile assessment of personality type. It describes people’s preferences for interacting with others, gathering information, making decisions, and organizing their lives. Widely used for individual, group and organizational development, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator can help people make business, career, and personal decisions, and assist with talent management strategy.


    This one-day workshop’s outcomes are:

    • Learn to utilize the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator to determine similarities and differences in communication and work styles within the Leadership Team.
    • Explore and understand the four areas of MBTI: Focus of Attention, Information Input, Decision Making, and Methods to Organize Work.
    • Foster a deep understanding of the tool, their individual type, their team type, how to communicate more effectively, and how to leverage each other’s strengths.
    • Understanding team dynamics, leadership styles, strengths, and gaps will be explored in this fun program.

  • Compliance - AODA Workshop (Ontario)

    This HR training workshop defines accessibility and accommodation under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act that was passed in 2005. It simply means allowing people of all abilities the same opportunities to participate fully in everyday life and making Ontario accessible for people with disabilities by 2025.


    AODA Training Session Includes:


    Review Ontario’s Human Rights Code.

    Discuss the definition of "disability".

    Removing barriers and designing inclusively.

    Accommodation responsibilities.

  • Tips For Completing Your Performance Appraisal
