Conrad  Pitan

Conrad Pitan is a Senior HR Consultant at AugmentHR, where he helps leadership teams navigate acquisitions, organizational scaling, workforce restructuring and complex employee matters. He brings more than 10 years of HR business partnering experience across technology, financial services, retail and operational environments in Canada, the United States and internationally.

Most recently, Conrad led the end-to-end HR integration of a cross-border, receivership-driven acquisition of a 32-person smart-building technology company, advising C-suite and Board-level stakeholders from court-approved closing through post-acquisition integration. His work included developing Ontario ESA-compliant employment agreements in collaboration with external legal counsel, designing Employer of Record arrangements for employees in the Philippines and Bangladesh, leading organizational design and retention planning, and advising on compensation, benefits and employee matters. He is now helping the organization transition to a permanent HR policy and compensation framework.

Previously, Conrad worked as an HR Business Partner at RBC, where he supported workforce restructuring, advised on more than 250 complex employee matters, conducted high-risk workplace investigations and contributed to the bank's Return-to-Office transformation. At Walmart Global Tech, he partnered with technology leaders across Canada and the US, supporting the growth of North American Technology Hubs, including the Toronto hub to approximately 140 employees. Earlier in his career, he supported acquisition, integration and digital transformation at Access Bank Plc and gained experience in unionized environments, including grievance resolution.

Conrad is a commercially savvy HR leader who translates business priorities into practical people strategies, balancing legal accuracy, employee trust and business risk. He holds an active membership in the Human Resources Professionals Association and brings expertise in M&A integration, cross-border employment, employee and labour relations, workplace investigations, organizational design, workforce planning, compensation and retention strategy, and employment legislation.
